I’ve just posted updates to a couple of applications. Both can be grabbed from my website or installed using Homebrew.
MNU, my macOS ‘access useful command line calls from the menu bar’ utility, is now at 1.4.6. The patch fixes some table row scrunching seen when you view the Configure MNU window.
ASCII is a utility for drawing 8×8 characters, images and icons. I wrote it to help me with various electronics projects that feature small LED matrix displays. I recently added support for three-colour LEDs; the new release adds further pixel manipulation: you can move an image up, down, left or right using the Command and arrow keys.
I took the opportunity to add keyboard shortcuts for almost all of ASCII’s other operations: just look in the Actions menu to see what they are.
Both updates run under macOS and support not only Big Sur but also Apple Silicon.
