MNU is a tool I use every time I work on my computer. It’s a menu bar utility that allows me to trigger command line scripts and tools with a couple of mouse clicks. Despite its utility to me, I haven’t given it any love for some time, so I recently remedied that with a spring clean of the code. I also added a new feature: custom keyboard shortcuts.
MNU, my macOS menu bar utility that lets you call up regularly used command line operations and more, now supports iTerm2, the popular alternative to macOS’ own Terminal app.
The latest version of MNU, 1.4.0, can be downloaded from my software site. The focus of this update is to support the changes brought in by Big Sur’s updated, iOS-esque UI: in this case, no more roll-down sheets, and iOS-style dialogs and square icons.
